UAS Research Objective
Remote sensing of plant physiology in support of crop management and varietal improvement; development of rapid, specific, sensitive methods for detecting key foliage components simultaneously for, e.g., use under multi-stress conditions; primary interest is novel hyperspectral-based methods
Brief Biography
PhD in Plant Physiology. Research experience on multiple crops, including rice, cotton, maize, sorghum, grapevive, guayule, castor, soybean, several oilseeds. Documented experience developing novel hyperspectral analysis methods in support of remote sensing of plant physiology
